Well the Grand Production is over...we had so much fun...the girls did an Awesome job..they turned out so cute and what creativity they used...Donna , my BFF, came and helped me along with Eryn's Mom; Ronda...there were 10 girls and they had a great time...

everyones was so different and so cute...I had 2 examples...they could do a dress or a flower... they matched their rooms and used a lot of imagination...

just think...10 new artist in the making...

Well another Grand Production is under way!!!  My Granddaughter...Eryn... Is turning 11 today and we are going to have a Make and Take Birthday Party...Her and 9 of her friends are coming this afternoon to make a canvas for their rooms...This is the invitation I made for the party...thank heavens there were only 10...they turned out soooo cute and were really easy to do...

I have taken several classes from Paper Crown that Jackie has taught...her Blog is Good Grief Girdie...go be inspired...she has an Orange Julius drink on her blog today that is toooo die for...

so this was my inspiration...this is the doll dress we made with my Mom's picture on it...and then I made the 3 doll dress canvas with my Granddaughters on it...

this is another  Jackie class... hers had a dog on it but I don't have dogs so I put ME on it ...it is one of my fav things...Sorry it has been so long... Life... I will have pics of the finished party tomorrow...love to all...and have a wonderful day...B

My Baby is 29 Today...

Well you know you are OLD when your Baby turns 29... It didn't bother me to turn 50 but Brad being 29 is a little bit of an adjustment...He is a Landscape Designer and very good at what he does...of course I think he is wonderful but he is really is...Hope he has a wonderful day... Try to stay cool is good ole Oklahoma's heat...Brenda

Well Another Grand Production has transpired...Yes another one!!! My BFF's son, Justin and his lovely wife, Jennifer, are having a baby Girl and we had a shower for them...what fun and how HOT it was...

We went with a vintage baby theme and how cute it was...

The crotched sweater was Donna's when she was little and her Mother made it...what beautiful hand work...I made the invitations with the baby booties vintage card above...they turned out so cute...I am glad I only had to make 25...they were a lot of fun and I loved how they turned out...

This little pink outfit was Jennifer's when she was a baby and she was so surprised that her Mom had sent it to Donna for a surprise...

When I got ready to do the invitations and the colors for the party I had found some Pink and Brown napkins for the Dad..."Living the Mini Van Dream"...how perfect...so I went with those colors...but the babies nursery is purple, lime green and turquoise ...love the colors... so I did a few things in the nursery colors... I love the little box...it has a vintage stork that Donna found in her travels on top...the baby shoes are Jennifer's and Justin's...Justin is a twin and his had a J on the bottom so they could tell them apart...

The BABY banner turned out really cute...I hope you like this Grand Production and come away with some new ideas...

  The Girl's and I are leaving for a Girl's shopping trip next Thursday...we will be on the road to Kansas...we will be stopping at Nell Hills, Curious Sofa and anything we can find in between... we can't wait...I will have wonderful pics to share and  new ideas and places to shop...until then...hope you have a wonderful COOL week...Love to all,Brenda

Good Morning Everyone... Mercy it has been hot...Well as promised here are a few of my 4th of July creations...I love my Santos doll my Mom bought me...she is so fun to dress up and decorate with... last year I put one of my outdoor flags around her waist and loved it... I made these tags and I thought they turned out cute...Like I said I am having a really hard time finding anything to buy to decorate with that is not primitive...I am just not a very primitive decorator...glitter is not very cute on rustic stuff!!!

You can't see it very well , but this is a vintage flower I made with an anchor button in the center for Donna's mannequin...Betty... I will have to introduce Betty and Beatrice to you someday...Her mannequin and mine...and the card in the background is one she made for me...love it...

Well, here is my version of 4th of July flash cards...they are easy if you can get the spacing right on the computer...which I am not very good at...but I love them..

and here are some cute bottles I did and a little vintage Washington,D.C. silver shoe I found in my travels...

A long time AGAIN...

Good Morning... wow it has been a while...Summer is more busy...than normal...

Well here are a few of my new 4th of July Treasures... I entered a comment drawing on "Good Grief Girdie's" Blog the other day...and I WON...she made these wonderful spools and the card and lantern came on the package...aren't they the cutest ever...Thanks Jackie and hubby for drawing my name...

Last night Donna and I went to The Paper Crown and took another one of Jackie's classes... what fun... we made this adorable hanger...it was really fun because everyones was so different... we were able to let our creative juices flow...we always have a wonderful time at the classes and learn something new everytime... this Tuesday The Paper Crown is having another meet and greet so hope you will all come it is so much fun...

Last year we took one of Jackie's classes and we made this banner... I added a few trinkets to mine this year and it is sooooo cute.
Well I am off to the Lake Estate Again!!! I have made a couple of goodies I will share next week...I am having a terrible time finding anything to decorate with for the 4th of July, so hopefully I can inspire you... I know Jackie has got My juices a flowin'...

Hello... sorry it has been soooo long... I have been at the Lake Estate...Hope all of you are having a great summer... it sure is HOT enough...

Well I have been busy again... Donna and her honey...Jerry... celebrated their 20th Anniversary last night and we went out to eat at Mama Rojo's..oh my it was fabulous...it is on Lake Hefner and you must have the guacamole and the Baja Style Ceviche...it has shrimp lime, cilantro, mango's...etc... it was amazing...we took pics out by the lake... it was really windy and the sailboats were out in full force...it was beautiful...

Well now for the reason for the blog...I made her and JP 

2 Anniversary Books.. they turned out really well...

I made the lakey one first and my pics didn't fit very well

 so I made the mr. & mrs. one.

I put all kinds of pictures I had of them and used a 2 blank domino, an I 20 bingo number...It really turned out cute.

the lakey one was fun...of course...we have a great time there and it was fitting that I had one of them...

I left blank pages so she could add pictures later... in the mr. & mrs. book I had a page for their wedding picture and one from last night.  She loved it and I had a great time making it...

well I am off to the Dr. with my Dad.  Say an extra prayer for him, he stepped on a toothpick about 2 months ago , and he has Diabetes ...and of course he went to his GP and said it was good...well it is bad now and we have an appt. with an Orthopedic Dr. today at 2...life brings a lot sometimes...I just hope he will be all right and it it isn't too bad.
