Well the New Year is HERE!!!

 Well the New Year's resolution isn't going as I would have hoped...they never do do they... We had a fab. Christmas and I had a little time to be creative so I thought I would share some pics of a book I made one of my Bestest Friends...Neta...this was the first Christmas without both of her boys... they both got married this past year and one is off fighting for Our Freedom and one went to spend the holidays with the In-Laws...so she was a little lonely...so it was up to her hubby to keep her happy...and hopefully the book made her smile too...

Happy New Year

Well it has been a while since I posted...life is so crazy at the Holidays...

we had a fabulous Christmas...I hope you and your family did also...and now it is time to turn another year older and to ring in the new year...I am a New Year's Baby ...my parents didn't get to claim me in 1956 they had to do it in '57...I have always been trouble...on to the "New Years" resolutions...of course...loose weight...and do better on posting on my blog...and ect...ect... I never seem to keep them but I am really going to try and at least do these 2... truly I want to make 2011 the best year ever...I am excited to master soldering and take more "Jackie" classes and take more time for Me...if I have learned nothing else this year,  life is too short and we need to take time for the important stuff...I am so very blessed with wonderful Family and Friends and I want to be what I need to be this year for them and me...again...life is too short...love and a Happy New Year to all...B

No Time

Well I have decorated and done VERY little shopping... my how the time flies... I will try to have some picks of my decorating this year in a couple of days...busy busy busy...and getting very little done...hope your day is more productive than mine seem to be... off to shop...ugh...B

It's Almost Here ?????

It can't be!!! My how this year has flown by...I don't know where the time has went...I guess I better get busy and at least...start thinking about  Christmas... Remember that Glimmer Market is at Paper Crown this Saturday...I am leaving Yukon at 9 so I can get there early...I really need Jackie's cookbook...someday I am going to bake ...and be just like her...hahaha...oh well one can dream...
Since it is getting so close I thought I would share some awesome parts of my children's dictionary...I tried to put the edited ones on the blog but sometimes my computer has a mind of it's own...

 I cropped and enhanced each definition and they turned out  really good...

 I used colored pencils to fill in and used them on one of my pages in my pre-Jackie book...We are taking a Christmas book Class from Jackie the 2nd...can't wait she is always such an inspiration...

Veteran's Day

Today is a Holiday that I think is lost in the shuffle sometimes...

I went to an assembly at  my Granddaughters school this morning and it was so moving...Both my Dad's , my Father-in-Law and Uncle's served...I have become aware of this day and it's significance in the past few years...  Here's to the many that have served and are serving to make my life and my families lives safe and Free...

and we had bumpers...let's just say I haven't bowled in over 30 years...

and wasn't good then...he told me that 3 year olds could bowl and 53 year olds couldn't...

He said it all...

Well we had a great time and that is ALL that matters...

Welcome Fall

Fall is in the Air...

 Last Fall me & Hubby went to Kansas

 to get away for a while and to see the beauty of Fall & shop...

hang out the window; while it was raining; and having him turn around or stop in the middle of the street...
